Greetings and Salutations! This week’s Top 5 Wednesday topic, if you haven’t guessed yet, is about books featuring vampires. Now, since the books about the Sparkly man made me mad when I finished the series, my vampire books are actually very limited, but I shall do my best to not be my rebellious self and make a list of 5 books…maybe.
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
I was so intrigued when I read this book. It was my dive back into the world of vampires and I don’t regret it at all. I had never heard of strigoi until I read this series.
Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead
This is the spin off series from Vampire Academy and I was so excited to read it. I don’t know if I waited to long to pick it up because all the excitedness has left me for it.
Bluebloods Series by Melissa De La Cruz
I remember I used to fawn over this series. Now looking back, this series was literally Gossip Girl with vampires. I still loved it and may read it again.
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
A book. It features sparkly people called vampires. You’re welcome.
Dracula by Bram Stokert
I read half of this book once when I was in 8th grade. I distinctly remember being bored and putting it down. I am unsure of whether the book itself was actually boring or if I was just in a rush to read something else so I dropped this one and never picked it back up.
What is your favorite vampire series?
Ciao Book THOTS!
Dracula is one of my favorite classic. If you have a chance, I highly recommend you to continue reading it! 🙂 I’ve always been intrigued with the Blueblood series.

Vampire Academy was pretty fun.

I just read Vampire Academy within the last year and really liked it. I didn’t expect much, even though everyone raved about it, so it was a pleasant surprise and is probably my current favorite vamp series. (Dracula takes forever to get interesting, in my opinion. It took me so many attempts to finally finish it.)

I really enjoy the House of Night Series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. It’s a long series, but definitely full of vampires!

I also choose the same type of creature this week! I have only read one Vampire series by James Rollins so I can only base my opinion on that – but I did enjoy quite a bit! 😊

I was worried if I would have enough choices then realized I had read more vampire books than I thought.

These are all well known books, but I’ve actually never read any of them. Good choices. X
